The 2-4 challenge
The 2-4 challenge is an attempt to capture the spirit of the Vancouver Slam’s Century Challenge where writers attempt to write 100 new poems in a row for $500. We at the Windsor Poetry Slam want to recreate some elements while capturing the intent of the challenge: to bring forth new slam poems, keeping the scene fresh, and injecting the scene with new amazing talent. Are you up for the Challenge?
The Rules:
The Reward:
A 2-4 or cash equivalent of $50 for those who do not drink, are illegible to drink, or just want cash.

The Rules:
- Read 24 original poems without repeating a poem.
- The poem must be read on a Windsor Poetry Slam stage. This excludes special events.
- Feature Slots will count 2 poems you read.
- There is no time limit to complete the challenge.
- Amilcar will keep track of the poems but you must sign up with him before the slam.
- Any sort of Slam Finals Night (Team Finals or Individuals) is exempt.
- Fair Play (as taken from the Duncan Shields Outline) “One poem only when you’re on competition or on the open mic. You’re not allowed to go up and bust out 5 small poems, that’s cheating.”
- Multiple people can finish.
