About UsThe Windsor Poetry Slam is an ongoing event, every fourth Tuesday, at Phog Lounge. Each event starts with an open mic section then moves on to the poetry slam competition. We work to bring in some of the finest performing poets from across North America to feature during these amazing events.
Established in 2015, the Windsor Poetry Slam is off to a very strong start and hopes to continue to grow and give back to the community. Our MissionWe intend to establish a community that maintains a space for poets to practice and hone their craft through friendly competition and to send these Windsor poets to compete nationally and internationally in an attempt to better their craft and spread the word about Windsor’s vibrant art community.
